The second Hanggu Winter Peach Festival kicked off in Hanggu Village, Taiping Town, Jishou City, Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture on October 9.
Tourists and villagers went to the peach orchard to pick peaches. The winter peaches in the orchard are round and attractive in color, tasting sweet, juicy and crisp.
A total of more than 700 mu (about 46.67 hectares) of winter peaches are planted in Hanggu Village. This year, the output is expected to reach 25,000 kg with sales of more than 800,000 yuan.
On the same day, the trading volume of winter peaches was nearly 3,000 kg, and the turnover was about 120,000 yuan.
